Hey, yeh pretty much all sorted now. Haven't had a compression test done but she makes around the 400hp mark now which is good. Been ages since I've posted in this thread, can't remember if I updated

I don't use the hand brake to launch so these are without handbrake

5500-6000rpm is minimum to get a good launch with stock turbos, 6500-7000 for -7s is what worked in the 34 so the guy ( sorry I forgot who it was ) that said 7000rpm for -9s is on the money, you just have to ride the clutch like you paid for the full hour and you intend on enjoying every minute

Well I've cranked my stockers up to 18 pounds not too long ago and it would've been the most violent thing I've ever driven....took some mates with and they too were very impressed! It was very, very troquey down low and pull all the way thru till redline in 1st and 2nd....but in the remaining gears they weren't too crash hot.

The only thing I've been wondering about is how yours fair down the straight in the higher gears?

124mph on GT-SSs ? I have run back to back 125+mph on stock turbos in a full weight car(+ 2 amps )so why would GT-SSs only run 124?

Everyone i know with -9s hasn't run better than 124mph on PULP in a 33R

Oh actually 380rwkw man has a R32 so it would be higher by a few - but it still won't be anywhere near 130mph, which it will need to be to back 380rwkw

125mph over a standing 1/4 is how it goes in the taller gears :yes: , it has also seen 240kmph+ by the end of EC main straight,

ride clutch, it should be a progression not just a step, stepping will break drive line at 7000rpm, the key is to load the drive line then progressively lift foot off clutch pedal and hold on. :thumbsup:

are yes 33s are very fat, and I don't mean PHAT, lol :nyaanyaa: , even so given 125 with 290rwkw, a genuine 380rwkw I would think should see more then 130, then that's in a 32
