Sluggish Boost At 11Psi

Hi guys,

I have a R34 GTT with mods, 12psi boost.

Usually when on full boost, it spools up to 12psi quite smoothly, however lately I've noticed it gets up to 10-12psi, stalls a bit, then creeps up to 12psi.

Does anyone know some easy thing to check for that could be the problem? I do know my clutch is on it's way out but I don't think it would be causing this.

If its your clutch the revs should be rising but not road speed or at least rising too fast. Most common in higher gears. Does it in all gears or only 4th/5th etc?

may be that the cat has a bit of carbon build up in it, especially if the car has been running a bit rich

Car does run rich. Would be a bitch to check the cat.

Could it be a vaccum leak as well?
