hey everyone.

I just bought an r32 and took it to the dyno because it felt sluggish. I don't no much about the car yet other than it has:

front mount intercooler

3" turbo back exhaust

walbro fuel pump

rb25 radiator

a pod filter with an AFM of some sort. u can vaguely see jecs on the green sticker (could be stock i dont no)

the air flow looked pretty shakey and there is exhaust leak caused by broken studs on the manifold.

the dyno only showed 105 kw. i was told it should run around 140 with the mods and boost its running. (and ofcorse the issues fixed)

my question is can you lose 40kw just from having an exhaust leak and faulty/dirty AFM?

has anyone had similar issues and solved the problem?

thanks

in the pic AFM and filter are out as i am going to clean them tomorro.

what boost is it running? if it is running stock boost (10psi) then i would expect that sort of power output with the issues you have. you wouldn't be losing 40kw from it though unless you are missing half the studs and are running about 14psi. you certainly will gain power from getting the studs replaced
