yeh a detailed DIY would be great, gotta replace my cv boots soon

Yep same, and we're all BNR32s....they're at that age now.

Marko, even just a list of steps and required tools would help - doesnt need photos.

i am a visual person hence for me to outline the steps - i could only do if i took the wheel off then looked at my car & traced back my steps.

from what i can remember though:

- remove wheel

- remove lower coilover nut

- remove lower arm outer bolt

- remove 6 nuts from inside of cv (next to sump) if you are removing the left cv

sorry im not that much help :)

do u have the workshop manual?

Took my front hubs and driveshafts out this avo, gonna replace the wheel bearings while I'm at it...

Only thing is the drivers side half shaft thing is stuck in the diff, any tips for getting this out easily?

Looks tight for room around there :/

U need a leverage tool that fits between the diff and cv hub...from here, u can pop it out with a quick whack. Be careful not to damage the alloy diff casing...squeeze a piece of timber block to protect.

Do not pull the cv from the wheel hub end.

Will give it a go with the pry bars tomoz morning...gonna be hard for leverage in there :(

On a side note lucky I took my hubs off to get the bearings changed, my front drivers one was tight and very noisy
