Just revisiting an old topic. A lot of you have mentioned switching back to a stock air box. I am currently running Apexi pod filters as pictured (no idea what type):

Anyway I'm in the middle of getting my car registered and need to do something about the filters. Works out to be around the same cost to swap the airbox or fit a pod enclosure.

What's the most effective air intake option? I understand the stock airbox is suitable for my intended power figure, but what if I want to go beyond that. What is the intended purpose of these pod filters if the airbox does the same job?

Also what would they be worth if I sold them?

Thats not decent, that is mammoth! I have never seen a gain that big on the same boost by just changing fuel!

This is the 2nd -7 + e85 50kw gain i've seen in the last 3 months, just shows that e85 is really needed in some cases to maximise the set-up potential

I've said this 11Ty times E85 is hands down the best mod you can do! I made 38kw more on 4psi less boost THEN screwed the boost up and went from 278kw-336kw! Enough said! Whoever is wanting $1300 for an E85 is having a lend of you too that's a RIP! Enough !!! from me as my throats getting sore.....E85 FTW :)

$1300 was for a base e85 tune, it was $2k for a flex tune!!

Who in Sydney is doing it cheaper??
