Next to the passenger side strut tower.

it will be heavily concealed by pipes and heat shields.

its not that silly a question, when i was a teenager and only first getting my hands dirty it was like an epiphany moment when i found the turbo on a friends car. admittedly they thought that was really lame but i was still in awe of my own achievement :P

I did the same on seeing my first turbo car nearly 15 years ago. Anything that had turbo written down the side in HUGE letters was the shit.

definately not NA, but yes thats exactly what i see when looking down the passenger strut tower. thanks for the help!

i'll get under tomorrow and check it out... im just curious lol

A noob question like that is normally gunna stir up some cheeky comments, but at least your trying to learn... The GTT is an awesome car... Try read as much as you can on SAU and be careful what threads you start as the guys may come across the wrong way if you ask a silly question :) if you have any 34 questions just PM me and ask... May save you the flaming! ;)

Can't know everything all at the start, if you don't know, search then ask.

Sorry didnt know he was going to be SITTING ON TOP OF THE ENGINE!

just tryin to help man

here's a quote for you

The right hand side of a vehicle, by convention, is the side to the right of the driver while seated facing the normal direction of travel. Consequently, a person observing a front-of-vehicle engine compartment while standing in front of the vehicle would have the right hand side of the vehicle to his left.

there has to be a general rule to save world wide confusion

A workshop i worked for made us use "Near Side" rather than "passenger side", i thought it was stupid! But everyone has their lingo i guess!

yeah a bit silly i reckon..... But anyway, i am pretty sure this thread has achieved what it needed too, itll go the wasteland if we keep changing topics i guess :P

yeh i did a search but couldn't seem to find my answer. I don't doubt this has probably been mentioned or even asked before, but I just couldn't seem to find it.

Anyways, I did end up finding it thanks to everyone that helped :)

baby steps for me lol. I'll be sure to shoot you up with questions that I have Mat, thanks again.

Its one of those things you may not find in a search as its not asked that often, if you buy a turbo car you generally have some basic knowledge, but hey as you say "baby steps"....... But try avoid too many threads with simple things as the guys will generally start with the LULZ :P

    • Hahah look at that smile 😂 Just like those ones on IG where they compare the husband in family photos vs husband going fishing lol. I don't think I'll participate this time, clutch isn't in and also the last time I went there were too many numpties on the cruise sessions. Nearly caused a few accidents holding up people and a few guys initiating massive kerb to kerb drifts with heaps of cars right behind them. Not to mention, there were guys on the track session using it as a power cruise session.
    • Is there an actual website thingie for peoples who don't have Facebooks? Cheers
    • All Jap Day is coming up again! 13th of July this year. Are you going? Tickets go on sale on Wednesday 6pm. Please let Quang know as well. https://m.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1163155775853542   I still get shit from my wife for this photo because it is the happiest she has ever seen me. And it's not with her, it's in someone else's car.   Quang's EVO is sick, but that rotary wagon flying past was absolutely bonkers.
