My 32 Randomly Doesnt Start

My 89 r32 sometimes won't start, when I turn the key all the electrics come on but the motor doesn't turn over at all as if the battery is dead BUT turning the key in the ignition a couple of times gets it started

I find it weird because all the dash lights and cd player come on but the motor doesn't respond yet doing it a couple of times and the motor will start with out struggling, I assume it's electrical fault but it's not the battery or altinator

That's what I suspected, I don't actually know where it is on the car

def sounds like starter motor when you find it the next time it doesnt start give it a nock the solder sometimes taks its self stiff

or just get a new one
