Ive decided thats its time I start getting serious about purchasing my long desired GTR, ive had all kinds of cars in my time except a GTR. Looking at whats for sale right now there is a range of 32 and 33 GTR's for sale all around the same price as eachother depending on how clean and unmolested they are.

My dilema:

BNR32 is a legend and an icon but dated

BNCR33 is the sucessor to the 32 - newer, lower k's, alot nicer as a car being more modern and comfortable (aircon etc) and i would assume improved.

Curious to know what everyone thinks about this...similar price 32 or 33 GTR and why? Opinions and technical reasons..

Cheers,

Ray

I went through the same thing a year or so ago.

I ended up getting a BNR32 due to racing heritage in Aus. and I actually prefer the look of the R32 over the R33. I believe the R33 has superior rear leg room, but the R32 has sufficient rear leg room for my kids.

both the BNR32 and BCNR33 have air con!!

R32 all the way!

1: racing heritage.

2: nimble and stylish.

R33.

1: more leg room.

2: require a yacht club membership and boat license.

IMO.

Lol. I always have problems turning to port for some reason.

Personal preferance dude. If it were a dedicated track car then you woukd have a problem choosing. Seeing as its not. You can just go look at them all and drive them all. Gotta catch em all?

I drove a '32 GTR on the road.

And a '33 GTR on the road.

As a road car - I like the '32 more.

As a track car - I have no clue how a '33 handles at speed.

And I own a 32 GTS-T, and have driven several '33 GTS-T's.

And the '32 looks sexier.

lol

I'd get the GTR with the best brakes, the best Attessa, the lowest Kms, the most complete history, the highest quality mods and given the most care.

The outcome hopefully might be a series 2 R33 GTR V-Spec or an ADM R32 GTR - now the latter one is a real dream & budget destroyer isn't it?

if your going to listen to anyone with a bit of common sense then listen to Terry

What he has said above is spot on.

Its not about the most mods but the quality and how well its looked after

Ive got an r33 gtr and i love it, yeh everyone carries on about how big they are but have you ever looked at one compared to an r35?

They realy are not that big of a car at all
