Mechanical Engineering Summer Vacation Work.

It's time to start looking for some work placement for the end of the year and I really want to get a job that is related to the automovotive industry. Specifically I am not really fussed. I live in Brisbane and am In my 3rd year of studies at the moment but I don't mind looking for a job anywhere in Australia or even internationally.

Any sugggestions? I was not sure where to post this so I figured this section would do.

Try my company - we don't do vocation work as such (it's just not called vocation work..) and it's not automotive (though, some of our plants do manufacture automotive components) - depending on what sites you put down you could be involved in component design, process improvement, project management, quaility control or manufacturing etc which will all relate back to the car industry.

There looking for people to put cadeships for final year too, so it may lead into a permanent job (i'm meant to be working with a team of ~10 engineers, of which their are currently 3-4 vacanciess...this is just my sub-division alone...so no shortage of jobs)
