I might have a spare, but haven't you got an short nose viscous R200 LSD? The back plates of long nose mechanical R200 have a diferent and narrower mount studs to later R32, S13, S14 etc R200's.

I don't think that is right Dennis. Pretty sure the bolt patterns are the same, so long as you're comparing 2 to 2 bolt. Of course there is also a 4 bolt short nose R200 back plate also, but the back plates are interchangeable anyway.

You can also re-drill the mount holes if that helps.

i sold my R180 sti set up for good money and brought a r200 long nose from a HR31 cheap

i heard u can just heat and bend the R180 one i have 2 spares for the R180 so might try mod it
