R34 Electronic Speedo Sensor To Work With Cluster?

Hey Im running a r34 cluster in my r32, ( all r34 running gear) just recently had a box swap and no longer have the electronic speedo sensor? how do i go about making my speedo work again? can i adapt a new sensor from jaycar to suit my cluster?

Care to explain how this came to be? Any R33 or R34 style gearbox sender will do the job.

And no. I can't see how you'd make something from Jaycar work.

this is in my drift car, my r34 cluster doesnt run a speedocable? not for anyfitting i can see, and 33 boxes run a cable do they not? A friend who chose to put a 34 box into his cefiro said jaycar do a sending unit that can be calibrated or something along those lines?

all 33 boxes are electronic speedo, if you've got r34 running gear should have electronic but being r32 would need wiring?

Exactly.

R32 is cable drive. R33 and R34 are the same electronic sender. So all you need is an R33/4 sender and the necessary wiring between box and cluster. Job done.

There is nothing that Jaycar do that will get you a little gear turning inside a gearbox and turn that into a signal. Jaycar do have a useful kit for converting one type of electronic pulse into another....but you don't have the pulse to convert (unless you have the sender in the box and don't know it....and you better have something in there, otherwise the oil will be coming out.)
