How much to pay for 96 model 180sx?

Hey guys,

Looking at getting a 96 model 180sx if i don't get a skyline.

The 96 interior is just way better + you can't go past the circle tail lights!

How much is a fair price to pay for one ? say stock

I mean i know the dodgy car yards are charging up to 26k for one ...

but they are just plain con men

about $18k if its got accident history etc, and around $20k or so for a clean one. Buying from a dealer is always going to be alot more expensive than if u were to import one yourself.

A good one 96/97/98 can fetch up to and over 1 million yen in japan, you work out the price landed.. I sold my black 97 for $22,500 had about 50 phone calls... Not really economical to bring them here as they are worth a small fortune in Japan thats why they are so rare.

yeah i've seen on j-spec.com etc that they are quite expensive.

No wonder that i haven't seen many round here.

Oh well, might have to buy a 94 or 95

I saw one 1997 180 sx very nice one too...

dotn know how much they cost..???

Remember, goon, you can always just buy the 94/95 which still has decent interior and replace the rear lights and middle bit that says 180SX and noone would know.

in what year exactly the interior is different? and is there any toher differences? other than light?

in 94 the interior was upgraded a little but in 96 the interior was upgraded again to these sweet seats that have 180 sx on them. It looks way better than the others. Besides that not much else different besides those circle tailights.

there was alot of things upgraded over the life of the 180sx. The edition of ABS and hicas as standard in some models as well as leather and the above mentioned tail lights and interior. Also the black top SR was released to replace the red top.
