Where Does This Wire Go On My R34 Gtt

Hi guys

Just wondering if any one can advise where this wire should go to.

As per the picture, the plug in the red box connects to the body work on the passanger side of the car & the I need to know where the other end in the blue box should go.

I assume it's just a ground wire.

Yeah it's just an earth strap, pretty sure it goes to a turbo or exhaust manifold bolt

ive seen these straps go to the heat shield on the exhaust manifold or turbo heat shield

Thanks for the info. There is a bolt missing off a heat shield so maybe it came from there.

I'll just hook it up to another bolt

i just removed my heat shield to get to my dump pipe, and was wondering what this cable does, does it need to be hooked back up or can it be left off?

Just put it on one of the bolts for your manifold heat sheild, or if thats gone to just screw a bolt in there with the earth strap on.

I don't think its terribly important but may as well put it on

I just bolted it to my turbo heat shield. I have not noticed any difference since it has been bolted back on.

i was wondering the same thing, my ones not connected either, no idea why though..

does anyone know what it does exactly?
