Ah yeah just weird when it's idling all fine so I took it for its first test drive got up the road and it dies in the ass like it run out of fuel so I pop of the head have a look in the bore and the bores are scratched like a mofo and pistons melted had new rings a hone ring gaps set right I dunno I'm confused

the timing on the CAS could not be out far enough to melt a piston, no.

its more likely that you were hanging its tits off and it wasnt getting enough fuel.
