Reverse Light Prob

hey guys, just wondering if sumone can help me sort this out. ok, so i just noticed my reverse lights dont really work, i have to jam the gearstick rite down hard in reverse to

get the lights to work. would this just be from the sender being worn, or sumthing more serious? if ne one can shed sum light it would be appreciated greatly.

oh yeah, forgot to mention, when i get them to work, they flash like a strobe light, like the sender is jumping over gear teeth or sumthin. thanks again.

It's not a sender, it's just a switch, and it is probably buggered. The neutral switches die all the time, and the reverse ones are basically the same thing, so it's only fair/likely that they'd be the same.

Yeah, sounds like you need to replace the switch. I had a similar problem with my car. Replaced the switch, and now all OK.
