Yes it would work, GT non turbo r34 dont have the cutout on the dash from what I recall

Its not a big deal since the triple cluster shape is already there embossed in the dash, most gauges would hook up with a bit of fiddling or come with senders

So drill a small hole and cut the dash center out , its marked off for you or buy a Gtt dash , plenty around cheap just a bit of labour to get it out

I'm making a mold for carbon clusters ( most of the plastics in the car !! ) in a few weeks and can leave the holes uncut for any standard size to fit , pure carbon not covered plastic

Are you planning on making these to sell, or for your own car? I've been looking for some high quality carbon dash parts without having to get them custom made for quite awhile now, so I'd be interested if you're planning on selling them?

OP, the standard GTT triple gauge holder fits straight into the GT, I've done it in my car.

I know of someone who had a GT and the dash wasnt cut out ? But converted to gauges easy

I'm making them as a Small hobby And since nobody else did any lol? , mine is widescreen tv and gauges where ashtray and cig lighter was and in roof where sunroof /dome light was So not for my car

Doing just about every plastic part off Gtt engine , outside . Inside

How do you mean it wasn't cut out?? This is how my dash looked previously (ignore the somewhat ricer interior, I was young and stoopid) and all other GT's I have seen:

Underneath that section where I have those gauges mounted is exactly the same as the GTT. My interior now looks exactly like a GTT's, one couldn't tell the difference.

The actual dashpad was 1 part the insert was embossed into it not a seperate part ? I have a brochure from japan and from the looks of it they came both ways ? the brochure has 7 different 4 dr models and 5 coupe models not including GTR !!! and shows all the options you could get ? Lots people dont even know existed i think

The carbon and kevlar i have is in various colours and weaves ( not colour fiberglass but real kevlar ! ) also making pure carbon strut bars no metal

And intercooler pipes in carbon factory first to replace the metal ones in front engine bay area , can be made any size from 2"-6" diameter one piece not wound or pieced together

Dry carbon, satin, normal or super wet look UV stable

Edited by Carbon 34

Yes it is one piece, you have to cut the section out in the GT to fit the GTT gauge holder. But underneath the padding, it's all exactly the same, so the bolt holes etc. are all there. Very easy to do if you've got a steady hand and a scalpel.

Your carbon/kevlar parts sound the goods, have you got a website or is it just something you do as a hobby? I tried working with carbon fibre once, ended up ruining my gauge holder :( lol. On the look out for a 100% carbon replacement for it, so if you are successful and plan on selling them, let me know!
