Reseal Or Just Adjust Butterflies On Throttle Bodies

So...cleaned my throttle bodies.

Should I use sealant or just try to adjust the stop screw?

Opinions please.

Is there a definate gap between the throttle plate and housing?. If so Id recommend Using the Tomei throttle seal. Can be purcashed from HiOctane racing.

What ecu are u running? I had a customer do the same thing on his GTR. I used the Ecu to remove 22 degree's of timing at idle to bring the idle rpm down to 900 instead of 2000.

Otherwise just pull them off and reseal. Heard its supposed to work really well but havent tried myself

I used the Tomei throttle seal on the weekend, easy to use and highly effective

Ah I already have them off I guess i'll seal them.

Hows RTV work in this situation?

It seems the canadians are using "Testor's Enamel Paint" like model airplane paint.
