Rb25Det Sensor And Hunting Idle

Hi guys I have a r33 gtst with loads of mods injectors power fc exhaust turbo etc I have a probly with idle it hunts up and down ?? Also there is a sensor on the inlet side at the front of the engine that clicks like a relay when I disconnect and reconnect the tps I removed this sensor and it goes into the engine near the timin cover without this connected it idles fine but stalls after high revs any info would be great Thanx in advance

The clicking noise is most probably your VCT clicking on and off.

It clicks on at around 1500rpm and when revs drop below that you can hear it click back off.

The reason you hear it clicking when unplugging the TPS is most probably because your revs drop?
