Flashing Engine Light Gtr R32

Hey guys just wondering anyone got a answer for my engine light flashing randomly might happen once out of 10 drives ?

What ecu are u running? If power fc u may have a tune issue

It's just the standard ecu and can't notice any problems

32's check engine light doubles up as the cat over temp warning light.

Might pay to look under the passenger seat for loose wiring.

I don't know what you're smoking, but I'm pretty sure the cat temp warning is a completely different warning light (red light whereas the check engine light is orange)

Haven't smoked for over 30 years but now I'll go crazy until I can remember what bloody car it was that uses the cat light for check engine. Was sure it was the 32.

PowerFC uses the cat light to indicate engine knocking etc

He has a stock ecu. So the cat light is the check engine light on 32's.

Yes power fc's flash the cat/check engine light. But for more than just knocking, ie injector duty maxing out, airflow meter maxing out.
