So I returned the fully sick plates I had on the car I recently purchased in place for "normal" plates.

They were normal enough alright, they plates don't even match up! I only noticed after 2 weeks :woot:

Guess I'll be wasting MORE of my time lining up at the RTA to actually get a pair of plates that match up. Good job guys, we pay you more than enough and you can't even get something so simple right.

ROFL Gold!!!

Temptation to keep 'em:- If you get a ticket off the front plate, bring the rear one to court. If you get pinged on the rear plate, bring the front one to court.

That's a rare 'pair'. Must be worth sumfin!!

But actually on second thought, there may be another identical 'pair' Hahahaha...

If those plates were on a 4 door family car I would do it, already drive a cop magnet, I want to attract the least trouble & problems lol..

Hence I'm getting rid of those ulleh 19" wheels, anyone want to buy? Click on my signature :whistling:

I would not be surprised if they try to charge you $30 to change the plates because you are of the opinion that there is something wrong with a perfectly good set of plates that they issued to you.

I can't imagine the plate "swap" will be a simple process either.

Surely the car will require re-inspection, VIN, engine number etc verification.

Then the label on the glass and the actual paperwork, which plate do they show?

Sounds like half a day in lost wages.

One wonders if there's hundreds more similar cases, once the plate pile gets out of sequence ??????????

On the rego sticker it has the the rear plate as being correct. I'm going to see those idiots on Saturday morning to get it sorted. Wouldn't be surprised if they tried to charge me a fee for new plates. Watch me rage lol
