RB26DETT Emissions test required

Has anyone got the emissions test that was released for the RB26DETT? The engineer in melbourne is saying that is required for me to put that engine in a 180sx. Any help would be great..thanx

Have you tried a friendly call to nissan for some advise? For them to point you in the right direction.

What year model is your 180SX??? The RB26DETT is likely to be a later model engine then your car, and comes from an Australian delivered car, so shouldnt be too much drama getting it legal...

Woudl they ask for an emmision test if you were butting a 304 from a VP Commodore into a VH commodore (assuming std ECUs)????

its a 98 model 180sx and how is that legal?

i have spoken to the engineer and he proof in a form of an emission test results.
