Ipod Astray Dock V35

Hey guys

I've got a built in ipod dock but for some reason its not displaying into the tv or not playing music from my phone. When i got the car the guy showed me a app "tvouttuner" and it worked but its not working now, would anyone have a clue about this?

You need to change the settings on the tv tuner, I cant recall exactly but press the tuner button and flick through while your ipod is playing music, if its hooked up and has worked before I'm sure this is all you need to do. Its just switching it from tv to AV.

Try finding the VTR channel on your screen. It is the aux that the ipod would be connected into.

I've tried to find every channel there is on TV and VTR. I'm using a app on iphone to tune it into the TV exactly the one the guy showed me its just not showing up at all.

It sounds like you haven't found the VTR channel yet. When your in the TV highlight the top right icon until and press it a few times until it shows VTR on your screen.

If you are on VTR then leave it there and try the iphone again.

If your putting out a tv signal from your i phone then set it to NTSC and then do a search on the car TV while the iphone is sending out the signal

NTSC isn't even showing up in my general on my iphone. its such a head f**k --

does yours happen to come with a remote to turn the iPod dock on? I've got one of these as well installed in the centre arm rest console and it has a remote to turn it on or off.

Yeah it came with the remote. Wish i wrote down the instructions when i bought the car .

Ok. If it comes with a remote then it should have an infra receiver somewhere. Mine was installed my Chris Rogers and the receiver was installed inside where the clock sits. You need to try and turn it on via the remote and make sure you are on cant remember whether it's vtr or tv (one or the other). Yours sounds like a Chris Rogers job too from the sounds of it.
