r32gtr93
New to SAU and wanting some advice-as title states^^ I have an r32 with rb25det s2 engine(Spun a Bearing), brought a replacement engine off a freind for a good price as he was selling his written off r34(replacement engine is a NEO rb25det). Its setup with FFP, Garrett GT35r0.83turbo etc...already tuned with the Power FC @365hp. I dont want to loose the Power FC&Tunning as its costed some serious $$ + i live in Mt Isa QLD, that makes Townsville the closest town for tuning(1000ks away). Im wanting to know if its possible to run the NEO bottom end with the RB25det s2 Head. Therefore i can keep my tune&ecu+injectors. Or if its easier to sell the NEO and purchase a s2 engine. Cheers in advance! Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/405165-help-neo-bottom-end-with-rb25-s2-head-can-it-be-done/ Share on other sites

Bronx
no bottom end is same as any other rb 25, only diff is the piston heads, they will not work with a non-neo head. also the neo engine uses rb26 rods, which do hold more power.
