R32 Speedo Cable Recore?

Read an old thread that people had said they had gotten a new inner put in the cable for around $50? Where would I get this done or are there aftermarket items? Nissan charges a few limbs to get a genuine one.

Your limbs mustn't be worth very much. I wouldn't consider $150 expensive and I have 2 here that I bought for people who never came and got them

picked up a vl cable from the wreckers for 20 bux, fits well. it doesnt mount to the dash frame like the r32 one, you push it into the cluster where the cone fits tightly on the cluster and then connect up the input for the gear box

due to the fact it is mounted right on the cluster i doubt i'll brake this one

Does your speedo seem to be accurate?

Pick up the yellow pages. Look in the section under "automotive instrument services". Contact business of that sort. Arrange new/fixed cable.

yeah vl speedo cable works fine for speed reading

40 at 3000 rpm in 2nd
