New Guy Needs Help! - Engine Idle Sounds Like A Truck Engine

Hi guys,

I got a M35 stagea. Whenever I'm on idle the engine sounds like a diesel truck. I need some help on what could be the problem.

Do u think it's something to do with the cambelts???

Would appreciate some insights!

Here is an insight.

You need to take it to a mechanic. Get it fixed, and pay the man. I could tell you about scan tools CAS and cam sensors, AFMs, Coilpacks etc, but since you think your car has cambelts, I don't think there is much point....

Search is your friend " re-learn, battery disconnect"

Otherwise I think safer for mechanic to sort.

oh lol durr...noob moment! sorry i just remembered its chain driven...but ya ur right, il take it to the mechanic just to be on the safe side...thanks for the response tho guys!
