Biggest Internal Fuel Pump for R32???

In the SA section we were discussing fuel pumps, particulary the Bosch 040 and the 044.

Apparently (Mark from Tilbrooks) seems to think the 044 flows the same as the 040 when they are mounted internally.

Can anyone confirm this, and if it is true, is there another brand that would flow more? (Putting it in tank as the 044 would be)

Yes, i have thought about a swirlpot and using the 044, but i want to keep the car stdish ( HAHA with a RB31DET) looking.

looking to support up to 350rwkw - any suggestions??

go the 044 cheap compared to other brands (sx) and dont stuff up normally, unsure what the diff are between the two bosch pumps

I was under the impression that they were both rated at the same level, around the 600hp area, but the 040 had a flat bottom with a filter built into it as it was designed to be an in tank pump, where as the 044 was designed to be an external pump.

For 32 GTR's the tomei pump apparently flows 700hp or so and bolts right in, you do pay for it big time though.
