Anyone used these guys to tune their R35? Looks pretty impressive.

'Quote under video'

This Dead stock R35 GTR makes 296 kw standard, after install and tune of the Haltech Platinum Pro R35 ECU a whapping 376 kw was acheived with absolutely no other modifications. The dump pipes start to get a little restrictive not wanting to flow more than 16 psi without rolling over, but the turbosmart E boost street certainly helps! none the less we think 376 is more than plenty for a standard set up! if you are wondering what its all worth? E boost street boost controller $645 fitted, Haltch ECU $4500 fitted and tuned.

That is a very impressive gain on a 100% stock car. 5k+ is a lot of coin so let's look at the options available

From a cost pov, with 5k you could buy yourself a Cobb access port, an exhaust including downpipes if you know where to shop, even an intake, and get same gain with a canned tune

From a features vs cost pov, you are far better off with a syvecs ecu - check out Martins running thread for his WR600, being able to set boost off the line for eg
