Been getting some good progress on the car over the last week. Everything is now plumbed and wired. We have ECU to TCU comms working. I just need to send through some values from ECU to the dash so I can have a few things showing up there. Fluids are in now and so far so good. Had a couple of small leaks from some hardline fittings but they've been rectified. I found a small leak and tracked it down to fuel slowly weeping from the fuel pressure sensor connector. Will get a new one ordered next week and we should be good to go.

Woah! Can't believe I stumbled into this thread - I've had my R32 sedan about as long as you've had yours, and looks like we have both done similar mods to try to get past these RB cooling issues. Such a rad car, love what you've done to it! -

It was pouring rain Friday night, and my windshield started fogging up. Went to turn on the defogger and to my surprise, my climate control doesn't turn on. The recirc and defogger light strangely stay lit though. I'm presuming it's dead, but has anyone had this before and resolved it? Looking this up online, I found a few mentions of bad solders on the connector between the two PCB's or the connector itself being dirty. I resoldered the connector on both ends and cleaned it but it's still not powering up. No other dry solders that I could see or any components that were toast. I found a few used ones at ridiculous prices (600-800$ CAD). A new one is 790$ shipped to my door. So as mentioned, before I order a new one, has anyone seen this and fixed it? -
beast mode! 1mil credits for your efforts sir. BTW I still have a G29/290 or whatever the updated version of the wheel is sitting in the corner, too lazy to set it up. BUT, the wheel does give you way more precise control, and after a couple of hours on it, your lap times will drop.
