hey guys, i have my 5spd 33 for sale, its got 247xxx on the clock all original no cluster swap, mostly highway kms.its white with a custom black bonnet, 18 inch decorsa rims, body kit, fmic, blitz bov, 3 puck clutch, coil overs-legal height-, neat car, good interior apart from where ya elbpw rubs on the door card.., the paint in spots is shit( small spots) accidently hit it hard with the gerny and took a 50 cent chunk, ....nott impressed, she has a 3 inch exhaust, sound system, and sub install in the boot, also cold air intake and alarm system...central locking, comes with pod filter and steering wheel too,

now the sad part and why im selling her, the head gasket has a very small leak into the radiator.. milky water. its never overheated and there is no oil in the block.. i just cant afford to get it fixed atm. i have a cometic gasket to fit ready to go. also another power steering rack because theres a little leak there. previous owner hit a roo so the front bar has a crack in it, and a small ding on the bonnet

its mechically sweet, box is smooth, clutch is good, standard boost, never been boosted, 5 month old standard turbo replaced. some of this makes it sound like a bag but its a really nice car in good nick jus needs a tiny bit of love, can send pics for proof on 0400750335. $$5500 ps has current vic reg for a few more weeks. tkanks for looking.post-86688-0-66430100-1343135858_thumb.jpg

    • KYBs are typically twin tube, putting them in the lower tier of desireability. Do you just want to replace worn out ones for the lowest cost? I mean, you wouldn't just replace one end of a car, if the rears are a similar age to the fronts, then they are probably nowhere near what they should be, and likely won't be great against brand new fronts. So, to spend ~$800 on 2nd tier dampers, when you could get a decent set of MCA coilovers for <$4k.....? As to the strut tops. 1st up, the Sparesbox site specifically tells you that they are not correct for an R33. Beyond that, why do you think you need them?
    • That's not very Toyota of the Toyota!
    • Bringing an old thread back to life Looking to put some new front shocks in the r33Gtst and the KYB still look ok for a road car. Unless there are any other options aroind that price $200 a shock?  I’d like to replace the strut tops also, is this the correct KYB no. For the strut top, KSM7124?  https://www.sparesbox.com.au/products/kyb-strut-top-mount-ksm7124?srsltid=AfmBOoq-HDru8wSlLnQrhU9gCw_uYdKg8gUQzONY-EQOdnI5iXOWEUjY 341287 appears to be the front KYB shocks part no.  thanks all
    • LandCruiser used to get a fluid flush every 12 to 18 months.   Only because it was about that often the electric motor on the master for brake assist kept dieing and needing to come off.
