20''x10.5 +30mm offset 3.25'' lip depth, if i were to purchase these, would i need to get my guards rolled with 235/245 f & r? The car is NOT lowered at all.

YOu're going to have a fair amount of poke,. Thinking some rolling may be req.

Will fit fine, they will have minimal poke what tyre profile would you be running?

I currently have a 255/35 on a 20x10.5 +17 on the rear of my 35, at standard height and it is in the guard.

I highly doubt you will need guard work at standard height.

+30 is not aggressive on a v35.

your more than likely going to have inner clearance issues before you hit the guard.

Coupe will probably be fine.. Sedan would need the guards rolled for sure.

You will very much struggle to fit a 235 on a 10.5" rim - in fact few tyre places will actually do it - that is a LOT of stretch! 265s are better, and even then are a tad stretched.

It's a bit tricky to get my head around the rim/tyre fitments. so when it's 20x10.5 +30mm lip. Is the LOWER the lip the more dish or is it the higher? also with the 10.5 width is it better to be higher or lower? Confusing as all hell!

Lip has nothing to do with offset. The style of the rim spoke dictates lip (but in general the lower the offset the more lip).

However as I said it is about rim design - you can get XD9s in +30mm offset and they have buttloads of lip due to the spoke design, whereas a rim like the Work Kais will have little to no lip even in +12 offset.

The offset defines where the mounting point on the wheel is. Offset of 0mm means that it's smack bang in the centre of the wheel. +30 means that the mounting point is further forward and -30 means that's the mounting point is further to the back. So the lower the offset the more fish - design dependent though.

and before you pull the trigger there is also caliper/disk clearance you have to worry about. Wheels with big dish are normally lo disk clearance...thats why u see most staggered setups have more dish at the rear than the fronts.

Most Jap wheels will specify this....not sure about XXR though.

Basically what i want to do is make the wheel flush with the guard or even have a little bit of poke, however i have just found out my mate has a proper setup so that guards can be rolled so it's not a massive issue anymore if the wheel is too big.

I would love the rim to hang over the wheel a little bit too..

These calculators aren't making any sense to me at all, I'm now looking at 20x8.5 + 22mm offset with 20x9 or 9.5 at the back same offset. How would this look?

The above offsets for a coupe would definately fit but is pretty conservative.

To get the desired look you are after, you have to lower your car even if its a mild drop otherwise you will be sporting the 4WD stance...

Thanks heaps for that link i will look at it shortly just at work, not lowered at all mate. Surely it's possible to slap some 20's on and have a bit of poke with stock suspension? my mate has 20s with stock suspension but they don't fit flush with the guard they are a little bit inside and i don't really like that

If you are refering to this car, then yes it has definately been lowered...
