Passenger Side Power Window Issue

Hey guys

I realise that there are a few threads related to power windows but my case seems a bit different... maybe?

Ok, so my drivers side window works just fine. The passenger window doesnt go down anymore with either passenger or drivers side switch.

When I move either passenger or drivers side switch to the window up position I can hear the faint *click* in the passenger door, maybe a relay or something? But I do not hear this click when I put either switch in the down position.

My car is a R33 series 2 gtst.

Any help would be appreciated.

pull the door trim off and have a look. sounds like your electrics are working. could be jammed up or something

oops, forgot to mention that i did pull the door trim off and have a little look. I checked all the connections and stuff. All seems fine. Could it be the motor?

is posible that it is the motor if you can try holding the switch on and give the motor a tap with something. if it starts working then your motor is on its way out. is the window cable driven? if so make sure it hasnt come of the rollers and jammed up. the other option would be to disconnect the plug at the motor and put power to one side and earth to the other. if you can make your window work this way then your motor is fine.
