Auto Fault Code 3 Tps Short.

righto fellas find a fault on the gearbox tps short or faulty. now tps seems to be running fine voltage correct etc etc.

however with the ignition on engine off, if you move the throttle a little there is an electronic buzzing coming from within the oil pan on the transmission.

any ideas what it could be or has anyone fixed this before?

Are u sure its coming from the trans? I think I read that if ur tps is working properly u should hear the injectors fire a "acceleration enrichment pulse" or something when u apply the throttle with engine off. Might be the sound ur hearing.

The transmission guy said it was normal. So god knows why it's throwing that code! It's a really weird electronic buzzing so you could see why I thought it wasn't normal!
