R33 Gtst Type M-R, Rare?

Hi Guys, A friend of mine in Scotland has just bought the above and we are trying to find out as much info as possible regarding the car.

I have had my Gtst for 6 years and this is the first time i have heard of the M-R model.

His is Spec 2 in MNP with the GTR spoiler.

Does anybody have any specs etc on these?

If its a r33 gtst 280MR - it's pretty rare, only a handful made (7 or less according to google)

Came with a 2.8L REINIK modifiied engine. Someone who's more familar with car might be able to go into more detail

i had a magazine that mentioned this model but lost it a bit before i joined up here way back when. i mentioned this model (not knowing exactly what it was) and had heaps of people tell me i was wrong, that it didn't exist or that i must've been talking about a GTR model. good to see all these years later that i was right.
