cmitc91 Posted July 29, 2012 Share Posted July 29, 2012 hey guys i have a rb25 det and looking to upgrade my turbo i have herd about a few but looking for ideas and perference i am new to the turbo field so this is why i am asking aha. mod that have been done so far. adaptronic ecu tomei pon cams spitfire coil packs 3.5 inch turbo back zorst forward facing plenum 1000cc top feed ID injectors 255lph Walbro in tank pump currently has a kkr 430 turbo which i want to replace while getting the ecu and cams put in . should i stay low mount or convert to high mount ?? i was recomended to go the hks gt-rs if stay low mount please any help would be appreicated on what turbo i should go on and pro's and con's to staying low mount or changing to high mount cheers guys Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/405812-rb25-what-turbo-to-use/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

gotRICE? Posted July 29, 2012 Share Posted July 29, 2012 Theres quite a big thread dedicated to this. But it seems the most ideal turbo is the GT3076R, or the GTX3076R. Depending on your preferences, the .82 or .63 exhaust housing. If it was me doing it again, id go external gate. AngryRB Posted July 29, 2012 Share Posted July 29, 2012 (edited) go a low mount gt3076 0.63 rear with external run ethanol/water meth and a bigger fuel pump. will have response and top end and some change if you do most of the labour yourself.
