Apexi Power FC & Bosch 040 tune - Urgent

Hi All,

I recently purchased an Apexi Power FC and a Bosch 040 fuel pump for my R33 gts-t.

Currently I have 180 rwkw's (without the above items) from the Unigroup Eng. dyno. (mods - full exhaust, boost @ 11 psi, fmic)

I need to know who is currently running an Bosch 040 fuel pump with over 200 rwkw's and what your comments are?

I am about to get the car tuned (very soon). I am being told mixed stories...

Some people say the 040 will handle about 220 rwkw's (which is fine for me) and others say it won't even match the standard gts-t fuel pump.

Any advice would be great.

220rwkw = is ~286kw (engine)

286kw = is ~383hp (engine)

The Bosch 040 is rated at 520hp (388kw), thats engine power. The figures below are from this thread

*GTST pump is 135 litres per hour and supports 300 bhp at standard pressure

*GTR pump is 190 litres per hour and supports 420 bhp at standard pressure

*Bosch 910 pump is 200 litres per hour and supports 450 bhp at 73.5 PSI # 0 580 254 910

*Bosch 975 pump is 228 litres per hour and supports 500 bhp at 73.5 PSI # 0 580 254 975

*Bosch 984 pump is 228 litres per hour and supports 500 bhp at 73.5 PSI # 0 580 254 984

*Bosch 044 pump is 330 litres per hour and supports 730 bhp at 73.5 PSI # 0 580 254 044

*Bosch 040 pump is 235 litres per hour and supports 520 bhp at 73.5 PSI # 0 580 254 040

I wish I could find these figures on the Bosch website because last time I was at UAS John looked up a fuel pump guide and the figures were slightly different.

I'm using the 040 and have no problems with it, only running ~186rwkw tho (was 203rwkw on the Unigroup Dyno).

Those figures are very different to the Bosch site which has the the 040 fuel pump rated to flow only 102 ltrs per hour (or something close to that). I understand that this is a concervative figure from Bosch and also not tested with fuel.. but that is a big difference.. 100 to 235 ltrs per hour..

I would like to know if any one else uses this pump with out any hassles..

It's just that Unigroup seem to think I am going to run into problems with an 040...
