Identify This?

Tough i know unless there standard, but can any one identify this front pipe and cat on my GTR?

Both have 3inch flanges

srsly, looks like a cheap compliance cat and a custom front pipe.

Looks like the earlier HKS unit but it's very hard to tell.

HKS had the flexible bellows there and they did a nice Y style collector as opposed to the trust/greddy ones that have a U shaped collector

Yer i meant what brand, definatly aware its an exhaust!

If it is HKS would there be any markings, stamps or anything to identify it by?

Wasnt happy with the way the cat looked so will defiantly look to upgrade/change it when i get coin again

Also while people are reading this, is there anyway i can see what dump pipes it has without removing half the car?

Should be easy enough to identify the dump pipes with the car on a hoist, and possibly from above if you are lucky.

Just jack it up so you can slide in and flash a torche up

Jack the car up and follow the front pipe..you should see one of them clearly enough.

or pull out the intake piping and should catch a glance

Looks exactly like my frontpipe, 3" and all rusted up (mild steel), even bottomed out in the exact same place. When I brought it ages ago I was told it was a Nismo frontpipe, but there isn't any Nismo branding on it. So it's either a old-style Nismo, Nismo copy, or Fujitsubo (looks identical in my jap GTR parts list catalogue, even the position of the flex pipe)

ive got a NIsmo front pipe. Has a plate screwed into it. Cant miss it
