Cracked Rim!

So I couldn't work out why my tyre kept on going flat couldnt find a hole anywhere so I chucked it in the pool and found that the rim was cracked on the inside,,,,,,

So dose anyone know where I can get it welded up if it's possible ,,,,,,,,,...

depends on the rim, and where in sydney, magman in riverwood can fix rims, depends on how bad it is. if they dont want to risk it. just lead wipe it lol

I would try Magman too.

The guy at Minchinbury tried to TIG my LMGT4 but it cracked again on a country road no less > Had to get it fixed again at One Stop Unanderra

Yeah it's a rota wheel it's about 50mm long...... How much did it cost ruffly if it's 100-150 and If there is a chance that it could crack again it might be worth just getting a new rim from rota......

Yes, that's about the cost.

Before they weld, they usually spin the wheel and chalk the rim if it's "out of round" > call you if it's not repairable.

Prior to welding, a "V" groove may be cut on both sides.

go for a new rim for sure mate, those rims are cheap to replace, and were made cheap in the first place.

Replace brand new or go to all mags at ingleburn
