Looking at getting a few things like my rocker covers and timing belt cover powder coated and maybe some ceramic coating on one or two things as well.

I know craved coatings has had great reviews, but I would prefer to be able to take everything to a shop front rather than have to pay for postage to and from craved.

Anyone know of/had any gear powder coated or ceramic coated locally?

no one does ceramic coatings in canberra. in fact no one in australia really does ceramic coating. places like hi-octane etc do ceramic powdercoatings (which is more than sufficient for any street or even basic track car) real ceamic coatings are white as seen on the likes of F1 cars etc and they have the price to suit that high end racing too.

I sent my stuff to high octane coatings. i packed them up and they arranged for it to be picked up. didnt take them long to send them back either. quality and service were top notch. they can also complete your powdercoating for rocker covers etc

here is what i sent them:

how they sent it back:

Looks like i might just go with craved then, as i know he has a great reputation. I suppose the jacked up prices of a canberra business will even out the cost associated with postage to craved anyway.

Titan, did your exhaust manifold and turbine housing get painted inside and outside?

manifold did, turbine housing probably was, i had it done a couple of years ago.

overall cost wasnt that much, couple hundred i think. again it was a couple of years ago.
