External wastegate with standard exhaust manifold.

I'm using a gt3040 rated at 600hp and using a 45mm external wastegate for a rb30det.(r33 gtst head)

Is it worth getting the plumbing for the wastegate put onto the standard exhaust manifold or should I just get a ss exhaust manifold all ready to go?.

Has anyone tried the Unique auto sports manifolds?

your better to go for a custom one the stock one is very limited in its applications

i got an aftermarket one (not designed for a wategate)

And it was hard enough to do it with that one which has a lot more room to move than that stock manifold.

The manifold is made by GCG, i just put one on my car. Not the cleverest design. I have had to remove the a/c to run the exhaust. Runner 6 goes out to far and leaves you with very little room for front pipe.

As for construction they are a nicely made manifold, well cleaned (grinding etc) and look sexy. Cant comment on flow yet, as I havent started it yet.

PS GCG sells em for 1100 so they arent expensive either
