Overheating Problems

hey guys, just upgraded the turbo on my r32 and it keeps overheating, never done it before i put the new turbo on, was sitting around for a while so im maybe thinking blocked radiator, what do you guys think?

Been tuned since the big turbo was added? Will be feeding in a heap more air now..

Tuner said to check radiator before getting atune, just about to bleed air from cooling system and take it for a run, then will get a tune down track (ASAP if bleed doesnt work).

If all the air bubbles are out via a) bleeding...

b) does it mainly o'heat whilst standing still? > fan clutch?

c) thermostat

d) royal purple coolant additive

i think you should take it to a mechanic, Then get a tune.

Viscous fan is fine, have tecalloy coolant, it's not a head gasket, I've taken it to a mechanic and they can't find anything mechanically wrong

With it, I'm thinking tune and bigger intercooler, could be choking everything cos of small cooler

Get a good water temp gauge and oil temp gauge and youll see whats going on

Mine has a bigger turbo and was always too hot. So i removed the aircon, and added an oil cooler. The heater is going to be manual like an older car.

Ive never had aircon in any other car, so no loss.

radiator was not blocked getting a tune soon

has wolf 3d plug in temp sensor, will purchase oil temp guage and cooler if tune does not fix problem.
