C34 Steering Wheel Swap

Getting sick of the bus looking steering wheel in the wagon

has anyone swapped over a steering wheel from any other models into their stags?

don't want to buy one and find out it dosn't fit.

have been looking at r34 and s15 steering wheels, would they be the same spline etc.. same airbag plug and clockspring? tiptronic buttons work the same for auto's?

also thinking maybe an n16 pulsar wheel being alot smaller, although that would mean loosing the tiptronic buttons..

R34 gtr is a perfect fit for the S1 (I swapped one into mine), and i believe the 34gtt is as well. Not sure what happens with the tiptronic buttons in the S2 though.

was the overall diameter of the wheel the same with the gtr wheel?

Pretty sure the gtr wheel is smaller although i havent measured it. Definitely feels better than the stock wheel.

from memory the s15 wheel fits, has the same splines, but i dont remember if you needed to use the stagea airbag unit or not.

if you dont care for airbag, just buy a boss kit with airbag "deleter" and install aftermarket wheel

Has anyone else done this, and any issues to be aware of? 
What about for MT cars?  Specifically, either an R33 or R34 GTR steering wheel into an MT S2 260RS?
