If you plumbed something from your aircon to an induction line, what hp increase would you see if any or would the hp that aircon steals not worth it would it be equal.

its free cold air i'm sure you could work something out with afm either bypassing

nahh but i got another idea, u know those PWR barrel intercoolers, how bout u take one of them and bin the radiator and all coolant related equipment.

and connect the air con up to the fittings on that? now i am guessing that if aircon can make your car 'freezing cold' inside surely it would work to the same effect on the barrel intercooler?

i imagine it would drop inlet temps immensly

This has been covered before and the general concensus is that a car aircon unit cannot generate enough cold air to drop the high inlet temperatures. It is simply too small for the heat loading. The temps inside the cabin are no where near those inside the engine bay.

in one word: NO

i would think a better (and also free) option would be to put a block of ice in your airbox and a pipe to drain the melted ice into your windscreen wiper resiorvoir... can't hurt for a night at the drags or at the traffic light grand prix!
