Hope it all goes well for you Ricky. From my experience and what I've seen, fault is almost certain to be laid on the person that rear-end the other, as they will use the reasoning of "you should always keep a safe car distance away from the car in front of you".

And not to mention that they can milk the dosh out of you...

That sucks Ricky! No matter how careful you are there is always 1 idiot! You're right about the insurance company too. They would love your excess! Hopefully not for your sake though.
