NickR33
lol probably at the stage where I need to shave it... get some Markos style... might even get some tatts/piercings! does stop me from getting hassled driving the R though... the boys in blue must think I'm a bit older and therefore more responsible... ha! Markos my folks were very impressed with ProRaw4... they only came for a bit, watched the bench press then went home and watched the rest on the live feed Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/407502-powerlifting/page/19/#findComment-6624259 Share on other sites
NickR33
so anyway, day 3 of 'dieting'... verdict: its massively gay did a lighter, high rep, dumbbell pressing session last night... including lots of shoulder work... low rest times and lots of drop sets... my god is it boring! hardly raised a sweat so went and did some high rep squats to finish... last set was 100kg x 20... fark Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/407502-powerlifting/page/19/#findComment-6624268 Share on other sites

Husky33
Thats pretty cool, so no benching at the moment? Just cleans/snatches/squats/front squats/overheads Pretty much spot on. Weightlifting is the only thing I'm really enjoying at the moment so I'll try to capitalise on that while i can. We have a good gym at work, i'll still bench there and do a few other things, but at least i can really work on the basics at home. Once i c&j over 140 i might go back to powerlifting Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/407502-powerlifting/page/19/#findComment-6634406 Share on other sites
Husky33
good to see the raw deads smash the equipped, and also the raw benching is great! Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/407502-powerlifting/page/19/#findComment-6634409 Share on other sites
NickR33
the start of my new setup at home. I have 250kg to start with, will have to add to that hopefully. Very cool setup! I would love to do some weightlifting but need some coaching first (and somewhere to do it)... I power clean/push press often but never even attempted a proper jerk or snatch... I can't even overhead squat properly as my mobility is poor 170kg bench at > 90kg! ... man I have some work to do Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/407502-powerlifting/page/19/#findComment-6634553 Share on other sites

NickR33
sounds good I've resigned my full time position and am going into business for myself so should be able to get to the PTC during the week next year... Hopefully I can split my training so it's twice a week down there and twice up here I know much more progress could be made training at PTC Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/407502-powerlifting/page/19/#findComment-6635205 Share on other sites

markos
What do the numbers in the gloss table represent? Glossbrenner is a formula calculator You punch in your bodyweight, weight lifted and it spits out a score. It also allows for age correction for over 40's and gender Here is a link on my site, its easy to work with http://www.ptcfrankston.com/glossbrennercalculator.html Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/407502-powerlifting/page/19/#findComment-6636163 Share on other sites
