Mitcho_7
In other news, im no longer a complete flange, squated 150kgs today on my first time over 135kgs. I can now bench 125, dead 180 and squat 150. Still got a long way to go to be happy with where my lifts are at though. Trozzle
Congrats bruf! My lifts have shit themselves again recently....except for squats. No matter how stressed I am in general, squats are the only lift that not only doesn't take a dive along with the rest, but continues to get better lol. Blah. NickR33
Well done Mitch. I wouldn't worry, if there's one lift you want to stay strong it's squats. Plenty of carryover from squats to deadlifts but it doesn't really work the other way. Mitcho_7
I really like the PPP powerlifting style of training and im pretty keen to join the ptc in canberra as well because I think training in that sort of environment helps heaps 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/407502-powerlifting/page/56/#findComment-7103997 Share on other sites

Birds
Hey markos, are pause squats legal in competition, or must it be a single fluid movement? I realise a normal squat is easier to perform with more weight, but am curious. NickR33
This is my PB with no knee wraps. I seem to only get about 20kg out of the wraps, some guys can get 30-40kg. I need more practice with them, learn how to wrap better and use them more when I squat.
