getting rust off brake hubs

so....how do i go about it...and how do i make sure it never comes back again

im sure its not rusted through, rather that the face of the hubs are covered in rust looking stuff...im sure it will come off without ruining anything

help?

I used light emery cloth and heavy steel wool with soapy water, after paint over it with a heatproof paint. if you want it to look really cool paint it gold so it looks like you have some expensive two peice rotors.

im gonna be fixing some stuff tonight (still have my split gaurge which is gonna be welded back) so might as well get the wheels off at the same time

also gonna weld on front bar supports to make it not flimsy
