John was very helpful. They were normally $1395 + delivery and he sold them to me for $1295 including delivery.

So I had a crack at cleaning up my yellowed headlights.

You know what worked?....... Toothpaste!

They look almost new!

Meguiars sell a product called Plaztix polish. Awesome for yellowing, scratches and UV damaged plastics. If your head lights are really bad you'll need a full blown resto kit. Lots of elbow grease, wet and dry and chemicals - 12months later still look like new.

The old Yellow fever...

There are quite a few threads on here about it, some say tootpaste blahblahblah.

I tried cut & polish and a goodly amount of the old elbow grease. Results were a definate imrovement and good enough for me.

Well I can vouch for the toothpaste solution.

Like I said they are clear now and look like new. At some stage I will do them again and hit them with some UV clear coat or something.

I just used a kit on my 34 that came with a uv sealer to use once you get them polished up.

I simply cleaned mine up a bit with some glass cleaner, then hit em with some silvo (silver polish) and some good elbow grease, then another round of the glass cleaner and they're sweet. Still looking pretty good around 4 months later, which is acceptable enough given it cost me f**k all to do haha
