Inconel Turbo Studs

Hey all,

I was just wondering if anyone knows where I could get some 57mm inconel manifold to turbo studs in Perth? I bought new studs from MTQ when I installed my turbo about 4000km's ago, and when I removed the turbo last week I found they are all warped and I needed to cut two of them off to get the turbo off. That's without any track time either, so they are about as heat resistant as a milk bottle.

I know I can get inconel studs from GCG, but they are only 40mm. MTQ don't do inconel, is there anywhere in Perth that does??

Nobody?? Surely these things have to be more common! What is being used on the big hp/high heat setups?

Nick/deceive is using them on his setup. Not sure if they came with his full race or not though. Perhaps ask Grant at Per4manz or Allstar

Speaking of Headtorque, thanks for the recommendation mate! They were awesome and did a fantastic job with mine, couldn't be happier We'll see how it eventually runs of course, but if it doesn't then I strongly doubt it will be anything to do with the head!

Nope, it was 100%

Took the opportunity to have some work done while I had the chance, but now it's just a case of crossing my fingers and hoping whatever the issue was before was to do with dirt in the system and it is now long gone.
