tiptronic auto R32/R33?

is it possible to make some sort of controller that enables you to change up/down gears in an auto skyline by the press of a button?

...these buttons could be mounted on the steering wheel for easy access

i'm looking at the electronic experts here...

i thought myself that if one could hack into the auto ECU inputs/outputs and wire in a switch of some sort that when pressed engages the gear change mechanism then this would be fantastic!

and antoher switch that turns off this altogether so that you can "manual-ise" your auto when required then re-auto it when you're lazy i peak hour traffic...

any ideas would be awesome...

Hrmmm.. R34s have triptronic gearbox and also steering gears.. mayb see if you can get one "transplanted" into an R33/32 ? Just taking a random jab here.
