I took this a few weeks ago out in the country, lit only by a full moon.

It's a shame about the dust in the lower right corner, makes the stars appear fake

shame? i dont mind the dust man, adds an extra element, more interest.

Its considered that whoever puts the garland first on their partner has the upper hand in marriage.

What was special about this was that groom just threw the garland over the brides head.

I'm not sure why I thought it was dust. Dust would be black, not white. TBH I don't know what it would be, possibly dew reflection?

I love the Indian body paint, so intricate. Excuse the ignorance, but what's the symbolism of it?

I'd hate to try and photograph an Indian wedding, they love their colours, doing it justice would be difficult.
